Panathinaikos signs defender Triantafyllos Tsapras from Levadiakos

Panathinaikos announced the acquisition of 24‑year‑old right‑back Triantafyllos Tsapras from Levadiakos. The player signed a four‑year contract running to the summer of 2030, with the transfer fee reported at about €2.8 million and a 20 % sell‑on clause retained by Levadiakos. The deal, after an earlier oral agreement, was confirmed by club officials Giannis Alafouzos and Giannis Kompotis and is awaiting final medical clearance.

Tsapras, born on 22 October 2001 in Livadeia, progressed through youth academies in Boeotia and a brief spell at AEK’s infrastructure before establishing himself at Levadiakos, where he made 167 appearances, scored 13 goals and delivered 26 assists. He will travel to the Netherlands to join the team’s pre‑season training.

The signing is presented as a boost to Panathinaikos’ defensive line and a reinforcement of the club’s Greek talent pool.
