Panathinaikos readies new OAKA turf ahead of season kickoff

Greek club Panathinaikos is accelerating work on a new, modern grass pitch at the OAKA stadium in Marousi. Recent videos posted on the "Prasinos Hulk" YouTube channel show crews removing the old surface and laying the replacement turf, aiming to have it ready for the team's first official match of the season.

The club has scheduled its opening league game against Hungarian side Paksi for 30 July, marking the start of its domestic campaign and its bid to qualify for the UEFA Conference League league phase. Preparations are being fast‑tracked as the club counts down to the August start of both the Greek league and European fixtures.
