Panathinaikos reinstates Dejan Boždarević banner at Telecom Center Athens

The historic banner honoring Dejan Boždarević has been returned to the roof of the Telecom Center Athens. The banner commemorates Panathinaikos' second EuroLeague title won in 2000.

The banner had been removed six months ago following a decision by Panathinaikos president Dimitris Giannakopoulos during a period of protest regarding officiating in a derby against Olympiacos. Giannakopoulos later acknowledged that the decision to remove the symbol was a mistake, stating in an interview with 'Euro Insiders' that Boždarević is a legend of both the club and European basketball and that the banner would be returned soon.
