Panathinaikos secures consecutive wins in domestic and European play

Panathinaikos secured two significant victories this week, maintaining a perfect 3/3 record in domestic and European competitions. The team demonstrated depth and defensive intensity under coach Zeljko Obradovic.

In their recent matchup against Vikos, Panathinaikos secured a 103-74 win. Despite having only nine players available due to the absence of Branco Bantio, the team utilized an extensive rotation. Mathias Lessort led the scoring with 19 points, while players like Yabusele, Mitoglou, and Heis-Davis also contributed significantly. The victory showcased the team's offensive productivity, with six players reaching double digits.

This followed a dominant performance against Maccabi, where Panathinaikos established control early in the game. The team utilized a strong defensive strategy to build a double-digit lead in the first quarter, eventually winning comfortably. The roster's versatility was on display as ten of the eleven players used contributed to the scoring. The team now prepares for upcoming challenges, including a scheduled test against Fenerbahce.
