Panathinaikos stadium construction shows significant progress in Botanikos

Panathinaikos FC has released new drone footage and progress reports regarding the construction of its new stadium in Botanikos. The project is advancing daily, with significant portions of the stands already being installed around the pitch.

The new facility is designed to have a capacity of 39,074 spectators and will include 78 luxury suites. Despite the official sale process for these suites not yet being open, the club reports that demand has already significantly exceeded availability.

Project officials aim to reach 50% completion by September. While it is unlikely the team will play in the new venue during the current season, the inauguration is scheduled for May 2027, with the club expected to move into the new home for the 2027-28 season.
