Panathlon Rimini resumes meetings with tribute to Tiziano Scarpellini

The Panathlon Rimini has resumed its meetings following the summer break. The session began with a tribute to Tiziano Scarpellini, a prominent boxing figure known as ‘Siluro’, who passed away at age 63.

Scarpellini was a significant figure in Romagnolo and national boxing, associated with Boxe Santarcangelo. He also served as a senior inspector for the State Police and a provincial secretary for the Sap union.

The event also featured multi-time surfing champion Matteo Fabbri. Fabbri discussed his career and the challenges of training in the Adriatic Sea, noting his achievements including five Italian longboard titles and a second-place finish at the 2017 European Championships.
