Panchayat Season 5 production enters final editing stages

Director Deepak Kumar Mishra has provided an update on the production of Panchayat Season 5. The comedy-drama series, which follows the lives of residents in the fictional village of Phulera, is currently in the post-production phase. Mishra stated in a recent interview that the editing process is in its final stages.

While a specific release date has not been officially confirmed, the director indicated that the new season could potentially arrive around October or November. The upcoming narrative follows the conclusion of the village elections depicted in the previous season, where the character of Pradhan Ji faced a defeat.

Storylines are expected to build on the developments from Season 4, including the protagonist Abhishek Tripathi’s potential career shift following his success in the CAT examination.
