Panchkula Woman Murdered by Long‑time Maid Over Gold Jewellery

A woman in Panchkula, Haryana, was found dead after confronting her domestic worker about missing gold jewellery. Police discovered the body concealed under a rug on the roof of the residence.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Aditi Singh named the maid, identified as Sunita, along with her husband and son as suspects. An investigation has been opened and a post‑mortem is pending. Singh also urged residents to verify the credentials of domestic help to prevent similar incidents.
