Pancho Varona returns to Mexico for acoustic concert

Spanish composer and guitarist Pancho Varona is returning to Mexico for an intimate acoustic concert at the Lunario del Auditorio Nacional. The performance will feature his own works as well as the major hits he co-authored with Joaquín Sabina, including “Y sin embargo”, “Peces de ciudad”, and “Conductores suicidas”.

With a career spanning over four decades, Varona has been a key creative collaborator for artists such as Luz Casal, Ana Belén, Miguel Ríos, and Ana Torroja. The concert is designed as a musical conversation, where Varona will share anecdotes and stories regarding the origins of these influential songs in the Ibero-American songbook.
