Pandawa Patra group promotes disability independence in Boyolali

The Pandawa Patra group in Boyolali is fostering independence among people with disabilities through an integrated farming program. Founded in 2017 with only seven members, the group initially struggled with limited facilities and access to training.

Since receiving assistance from Pertamina in late 2021, the group has transitioned to a sustainable economic empowerment model. Rather than providing simple aid, Pertamina worked with the group to map needs and implement an integrated farming concept that combines agriculture and livestock sectors. This approach serves as both a learning medium and a source of sustainable income.

The program has expanded the group to 29 members, including 24 individuals with disabilities and their families. Through continuous training and mentorship, members have gained new skills and increased confidence to participate in the workforce.
