Pandino worker seriously injured in woodworking factory fall

A 50-year-old worker sustained serious head injuries following a fall at a woodworking company in Pandino on August 21, 2026. The incident occurred around 5:00 PM when the man reportedly climbed onto a large waste container to dispose of wood, lost his balance, and fell to the ground.

Colleagues discovered the man after he failed to return to the facility. Emergency responders from Lodi and the Croce Verde of Crema arrived at the scene. Due to the severity of the head injury, the victim was stabilized and transported via air ambulance to Niguarda Hospital in Milan, where he was admitted under a red code. While his condition is serious, medical professionals stated that his prognosis is not currently a cause for major concern.

Local Carabinieri have arrived at the factory to conduct investigations, and technicians from ATS Val Padana are inspecting the site to ensure all safety protocols and measures were correctly implemented.
