Panerai launches Submersible Navy SEALs 44mm dive watch

Panerai, the Italian luxury watchmaker, unveiled the Submersible Navy SEALs PAM01738, a 44 mm stainless‑steel diver’s watch timed for release in July ahead of the U.S. “America 250” semiquincentennial celebrations. The piece carries the official U.S. Navy SEALs insignia on its engraved case‑back and is offered with interchangeable black rubber and gray canvas straps.

Powered by Panerai’s in‑house P. 980 automatic calibre, the watch provides a three‑day power reserve, a 500 m (50 bar) water‑resistance rating and a matte‑black ceramic bezel. Luminous markers have been enlarged by 20 % and coated with Super‑LumiNova X2, giving green hour indexes and a blue‑lit minute hand. Panerai subjected the watch to extensive durability tests, including 19 000 bezel rotations, 5 000 g shock impacts and thousands of seal‑and‑sand cycles before market launch.
