Panerai launches Submersible with first metal bracelet
Panerai has introduced the Submersible PAM01756, the first 44 mm Submersible model fitted with a metal bracelet. Until now the iconic case size was only offered with rubber or fabric straps. The watch houses the in‑house P. 980 automatic movement with a three‑day power reserve and is built from AISI 316LVM stainless steel, featuring a blue ceramic bezel and a 500‑metre water‑resistance rating. Notable design touches include a sun‑brushed black dial, Super‑LumiNova‑treated hands and indexes, and an engraved case back referencing the Italian Navy’s historic “pig” torpedo.
A standout functional addition is the Quick Length Adjustment system, which lets the wearer extend the bracelet by 2 mm on each side without tools or link removal, improving comfort in hot weather or after long flights. The watch is available now on Panerai’s website, priced at €12 800, $13 200 in the United States and £11 000 in the United Kingdom.
