Panerai unveils Luminor Marina PAM01707 with Carbotech case

Panerai has introduced the Luminor Marina PAM01707, a new timepiece that integrates the brand’s traditional diving silhouettes with its proprietary Carbotech material. The watch features a 44mm case constructed from Carbotech, a substance created by pressurizing carbon fiber sheets with a high-performance polymer known as PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone).

This material offers several technical advantages, including being lighter than both steel and titanium while providing high resistance to shock and corrosion. Due to the way the material is cut, the irregular matte-black patterns ensure that no two cases are identical.

To maintain a vintage aesthetic, the PAM01707 utilizes a black sandwich dial with warm beige Super-LumiNova in the numerals and markers. The design retains signature Luminor elements, such as the prominent crown-protecting bridge and oversized luminous markers, balancing modern engineering with heritage-inspired styling.
