Panettone Day 2026 announces winners in Milan
The winners of the Panettone Day 2026 competition for artisanal panettone were announced during a final held on September 3 at the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan. The competition, a collaboration between CSM Ingredients' Braims brand and Novacart, featured a blind tasting process overseen by a jury led by Master Gino Fabbri.
In the Traditional Panettone category, Alessandro Botti of La Palma 1914 from Palazzago took first place. Francesco Bertolini of Casa del Dolce Bertolini & Figli won the Creative Sweet Panettone category, while Magda Fasciglione secured the prize for the Chocolate Panettone category. The 2026 edition also introduced a new category for Creative Savory Panettone to reflect evolving market trends.
Following the competition, a temporary shop will open in Milan from October 7 to November 1, 2026, allowing the public to purchase creations from the finalists.
