The 10th Pančevo Film Festival (PAFF), an international competitive festival for feature and short films, will take place from September 23 to 27 in Pančevo, Serbia. The event will feature approximately forty films alongside various discussions and accompanying programs, with free admission for all attendees.
The festival opens on Wednesday, September 23, with the Serbian premiere of ‘Male stvari’ (Small Things), directed by Croatian filmmaker Zvonimir Jurić. The film follows two sisters and their family as they confront repressed relationships and difficult decisions following a father's decision to sell family land.
The festival concludes with the documentary ‘Yugo ide u Ameriku’ (Yugo Goes to America) by Filip Grujić and Aleksa Borković. The film follows four millennials traveling across 24 U.S. states from New York to Los Angeles in a vintage Yugoslavian Yugo, exploring the car's history and its connection to post-Yugoslav identity.
