Panevėžys Diocese Pilgrimage Visits Poland

Members of the Living Rosary Society from the Panevėžys Diocese participated in a two-day pilgrimage and retreat in Poland on October 3–4. The group, consisting of 44 participants from various deaneries including Panevėžys, Ramygala, Krekenava, Anykščiai, Utena, and Pasvalys, visited the shrines of Our Lady of Częstochowa and Gidlė.

Led by Nijolė Gylienė and spiritual leader Father Alfredas Puško, the pilgrimage focused on the spiritual legacy of Blessed Archbishop Jurgis Matulaitis. The retreats centered on the theme of overcoming evil through goodness, emphasizing that Christian kindness is a conscious decision to choose truth and mercy rather than responding to hatred with hatred.
