Panevėžys receives 900,000 euros for infrastructure projects

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation has allocated an additional 900,000 euros to infrastructure projects in the Panevėžys City Municipality. This funding is intended to improve investment sites and their accessibility.

Specifically, 500,000 euros will be directed toward the capital repair of the Nemuno Street bridge over the Nevėžis River, and 400,000 euros will support the capital repair of Pušaloto Street. The bridge project, which began in June 2025, involves reinforcing concrete structures, replacing the driving surface, and updating pedestrian and bicycle paths. Due to unforeseen additional works, the bridge repair is now expected to be completed by mid-2027. The total value of the bridge works, including these additions, exceeds 4.3 million euros.
