Panhead Port Road Pilsner wins 2026 New World Beer & Cider Awards

Panhead’s Port Road Pilsner has been named the Supreme Winner of the 2026 New World Beer & Cider Awards. The pilsner was selected by an independent panel of expert judges from a pool of more than 650 entries from across New Zealand.

The Top 25 winners include a diverse range of styles, from classic lagers and IPAs to fruit-forward ciders and alcohol-free options. Notable performers include Lakeman Brewing and Garage Project, which each secured three entries in the Top 25. Other highlighted winners include Duncan’s Yum YUM YUZUA, Steinlager Tokyo Dry, and Steinlager Ultra Low Carb. For the first time, the awards have introduced a People’s Choice Award, allowing New World customers to vote for their favorite product from the Top 25 list between August 24 and September 20, 2026.
