PANI and UNICEF launch national survey on child rights in Costa Rica

The Patronato Nacional de la Infancia (PANI) and UNICEF are conducting a national survey in Costa Rica to assess the living conditions and rights of children and adolescents. Executed by CID Gallup, the survey covers approximately 4,000 households across the country and will run from July 20 until the last week of November.

María José Vega Sanabria, executive president of PANI, stated that the data will guide decision-making, services, and public policies to support positive upbringing and integral development. Francisco Delgado, UNICEF Costa Rica Programs Manager, added that understanding these realities is the first step toward guaranteeing rights and ensuring equal opportunities for all minors.
