Panionios FC President Kostas Rouptsos outlines club goals

Kostas Rouptsos, president of Panionios FC, has outlined the club's strategic goals and the challenges facing the organization. In a recent interview, Rouptsos noted that the administration is currently in its third year of managing significant difficulties, including over 100 legal cases related to past debts, with approximately 30 still pending.

The primary sporting objective is to return the club to Super League 1 within a three-year period. However, Rouptsos emphasized that promotion alone is insufficient. He stated that the ultimate goal is to rebuild Panionios as a modern, major football club by establishing essential infrastructure, including a modern stadium, a professional training center, and a strong academy.

Rouptsos identified the stadium issue as the most critical factor for the club's future. He noted that as a tenant, the club lacks the same initiative as an owner and called for greater mobilization from those responsible for making necessary interventions to improve the facilities.
