Panionios FC signs Spanish striker Rubén Sobrino
Panionios FC has announced the signing of Spanish striker Rubén Sobrino to strengthen its attacking line. The 34-year-old, standing 1.85 meters tall, is a versatile forward capable of playing as a central striker or on the wings.
Sobrino's career includes stints at several high-profile clubs. He developed in the Real Madrid academies and was later signed by Manchester City in 2015, which led to loan spells at Ponferradina and Girona. He also played for Deportivo Alavés and Valencia, where he won the Copa del Rey during the 2018/19 season.
Most recently, Sobrino played for Cultural Leonesa in the Spanish Segunda División, where he recorded two goals and two assists in 29 appearances.
