Panionios FC to donate match proceeds to Kostas Lima

Panionios FC has announced that all proceeds from the ticket sales of its upcoming home match against PAOK B in the Super League 2 will be donated to Kostas Lima.

Lima, a 32-year-old footballer for Asteras Pastidas and the son of former Panionios player Noni Lima, recently survived a severe motorcycle accident. Due to the gravity of his injuries, doctors were required to amputate his right leg to save his life.

The club issued a statement expressing solidarity with the Lima family, describing Panionios as a “large family” that stands by its own during difficult times. The club has also called on supporters to attend the match at Nea Smyrni to show a message of solidarity and support.
