Panjab University announces research fellowship recruitment

Panjab University in Chandigarh is conducting recruitment for research positions through walk-in interviews.

Under the RUSA 2.0 scheme, the university is seeking Project Fellows for various disciplines, including Biological, Physical, Social, Engineering, and Chemical Sciences. Eligible candidates must hold a master’s degree with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) and be under 40 years of age. The fellowship offers a consolidated monthly payment of ₹25,000, with the position initially lasting until September 31, 2026.

Additionally, the university is recruiting for Post Doctoral Fellowship positions. Candidates for these roles must possess a doctorate degree in a relevant subject with published research. The monthly salary for these fellowships is ₹1,00,000. Walk-in interviews for the postdoctoral positions are scheduled to take place from August 27 to August 29, 2026.
