Pankaj Tripathi to host IIFA Digital Awards 2027 in Abu Dhabi

Actor Pankaj Tripathi is scheduled to make his hosting debut at the IIFA Digital Awards 2027. The event, which celebrates achievements in streaming and digital storytelling, will be held at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, on January 22–23, 2027.

Tripathi will co-host the digital segment alongside Ali Fazal. He described the transition from acting to hosting as a “completely different” and humbling experience, noting the excitement and nervousness that comes with stepping onto the stage in a new capacity.

The 27th edition of the IIFA Weekend & Awards will also feature Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan as hosts for the main ceremony. The star-studded event is expected to include performances by several prominent Bollywood figures, including Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor.
