Pankshin residents panic after mutilated body found near market

Residents of Pankshin in Plateau State were left in panic following the discovery of an unidentified man's body behind the Monday Market in the early hours of Tuesday.

The deceased was found with parts of his body, including his genitals, reportedly removed. Local residents stated that the identity of the man and the circumstances leading to his death remain unknown.

Security personnel arrived at the scene to evacuate the remains and have launched an investigation to identify the victim and determine those responsible for the killing. As of the initial reports, the spokesperson for the Plateau State Police Command, SP Alfred Alabo, had not yet responded to inquiries regarding the incident.
