Panos Michalopoulos's television comeback reportedly stalled

The highly anticipated television return of actor Panos Michalopoulos appears to have stalled. After a 19-year absence from the small screen, Michalopoulos had expressed interest in joining the cast of the new romantic comedy series ‘Randevou me tin Evtychia’ (Appointment with Happiness) on Alpha TV.

The project, written by Panos Amarantidis, held significant emotional weight for the actor due to their previous successful collaboration on the series ‘I Ora i Kali’. While Michalopoulos had previously confirmed his interest in the role, reports indicate that negotiations between the actor and the production company failed to reach an agreement due to disagreements over fundamental terms of the partnership.

Despite the setback regarding Michalopoulos's involvement, the production of the series continues as planned, with filming expected to begin shortly. The cast is expected to include Eugenia Samara, Michalis Sarantis, Anna Mascha, Kostis Berikopoulos, and Orestis Chalkias.
