PANSA implements Frequentis X10 voice communication system in Poland
Frequentis has successfully delivered its X10 voice communication system (VCS) to the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA). The IT-based platform is designed to enhance PANSA’s capabilities in both operational air traffic management and training.
The X10 system supports a virtual control center configuration, allowing for seamless networking between air navigation service centers across Poland. The implementation includes 74 workstations: 60 dedicated to active air traffic management and 14 for air traffic controller training.
As a software-based system, the X10 offers high operational flexibility and features a redundant design with integrated cybersecurity to ensure continuous availability. This deployment marks a milestone in the nearly 30-year partnership between Frequentis and PANSA, aimed at improving flight safety and operational resilience in one of Europe’s largest airspaces, which handles approximately 3,000 flights per day.
