Pantalla Patagonia to host first short film showcase in El Calafate

Students and faculty from the Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia Austral (UNPA) are organizing Pantalla Patagonia, the first short film showcase in El Calafate, Santa Cruz. Scheduled for October 9 and 10, the event aims to provide a platform for filmmakers from the Argentine and Chilean Patagonia to showcase works up to 10 minutes in length.

The initiative seeks to strengthen regional film production and create a space for meeting and projection, helping to decentralize cultural content and highlight local identities, landscapes, and realities. The call for entries is open to various genres, including documentaries, fiction, animation, and experimental films.
