Panteion University and Nea Filadelfeia-Nea Chalkidona sign education pact

Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and the Municipality of Nea Filadelfeia-Nea Chalkidona have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to advance education, culture, and research. The agreement, signed by University Rector Christina Koulouri and Mayor Ioannis Tombouloglou, focuses on strengthening the Municipal Free Open University (DEAP).

The partnership includes the co-organization of educational activities such as lecture series, seminars, workshops, and conferences aimed at citizens, professionals, and specific social groups. It also seeks to promote cultural and social actions that foster public dialogue and connect scientific knowledge with societal needs.

Additionally, the memorandum covers the development of joint lifelong learning programs addressing social, political, economic, and environmental issues. University researchers and faculty will participate in DEAP activities as speakers or advisors, and both parties will collaborate on studies regarding local society and public interest issues.
