Pantelleria to host second Asinabile Festival in October

The second edition of the ‘Festival Pantelleria Asinabile’ is scheduled to take place from October 2 to 4, 2026, at the Bunker area in Bukkuram. Held in conjunction with the 14th ‘Earth Week’, the event focuses on sustainability, culture, and the promotion of the Pantellerian donkey, a symbol of the local community.

Key activities include the inauguration of the first ‘Primo Bivacco Notturno Pantesco’, an overnight camping experience for families and youth. The program also features a trekking event along the CAI 982 path, accompanied by local donkeys, and a scientific conference discussing the past, present, and future of the Pantellerian donkey, covering topics such as ecotourism and animal therapy.
