Panteras de Aguascalientes wins first LNBP series against Lobos de Puebla

Panteras de Aguascalientes secured their first series victory of the 2026 LNBP season by defeating Lobos de Puebla. The series included a dominant 111-88 win in the first game, led by Ahmed Hill with 22 points, Tyler Cheese with 18, and MiKyle McIntosh with 15.

The second game was a closer contest, ending in a 73-69 victory for Panteras at the Hermanos Carreón gymnasium. Despite a slow start and strong interior play from Lobos' Michael Myers Jr., who scored 19 points, Panteras utilized three-point shooting to build an advantage. The game remained competitive in the final quarter until a missed three-pointer by Karim Rodríguez prevented Lobos from closing the gap.

Panteras' victory was anchored by Tyler Cheese, who contributed 15 points in the second matchup. The team is scheduled to face Abejas de León on August 15 and 16.
