Panu Hörkkö launches Crash Fight promotion, event to shift Vaasa Liiga game

Finnish entertainment journalist and former paparazzo Panu Hörkkö has founded a new combat‑sports promotion called Crash Fight. The organization announced its inaugural event for 12 December at the Vaasa ice hall, promising UFC‑level mixed‑martial‑arts bouts as well as celebrity fights.

The scheduled date coincides with a Liiga ice‑hockey match between Vaasan Sport and Mikkeli Jukurit, which the league moved to a different time slot to free the venue for the Crash Fight show. The promotion’s board includes Vaasan Sport CEO Jonne Kemppainen, Havu Gaming brand director Tuomas Kujansuu, and chairperson Tuomas Saikkonen, a member of the Sport board. Hörkkö previously co‑ran Immu Fight Club with Mika “Immu” Ilmén, a brand that has now been discontinued.
