Paço do Lumiar administration inaugurates new public facilities

Mayor Fred Campos of Paço do Lumiar has inaugurated several new public infrastructure projects aimed at education, sports, and leisure. Recent openings include the Parquinho Kids in Viva Maiobão, a dedicated children's play area, as well as a new Educa Paço center and a multi-sport court in Residencial Silvia Cantanhede.

The Educa Paço center is designed to provide after-school activities, including academic reinforcement and cultural or athletic programs such as ballet, volleyball, basketball, and capoeira. These initiatives are part of a broader municipal effort that has delivered over 10 Educa Paço hubs, 20 covered courts, and 25 plazas within less than two years of the current administration.

Separately, Vice-Mayor Mariana Brandão issued an official statement to deny rumors of a political rift with Mayor Campos. Addressing speculation regarding administrative friction, Brandão affirmed that their relationship remains based on respect and partnership as they continue to work toward municipal development.
