PAOK adds two top youth basketball prospects Giannis Spanos and Giorgos Charalambidis

Greek club PAOK announced the signing of 16‑year‑old forward Giannis Spanos and 15‑year‑old guard Giorgos Charalambidis. Both players are members of Greece's national youth basketball teams and will join PAOK's newly restructured development program aimed at moving talent from academies to the senior squad.

Spanos comes from the DEKA Academy, where he posted averages of 26.9 points, 16.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists, and scored 41 points with 19 rebounds in a recent final. Charalambidis, previously with the Greek Basketball Academy (GBA), was selected among the best five in the latest EKASTH youth championship. The duo will represent Greece at the U16 European Championship beginning 7 August in Oradea, Romania.
