PAOK announces volleyball signings Petković and Jelve

PAOK's men's volleyball department has announced two significant signings for the 2026-2027 season.

Serbian opposite Dušan Petković, 34, joins the team following an extensive international career. Standing 200cm tall, Petković has played in top leagues across Serbia, France, Qatar, Italy, Poland, and Russia. His notable achievements include being the top scorer in Italy's Serie A1 for two consecutive seasons (2017-18 and 2018-19) and winning multiple titles with Red Star Belgrade.

Additionally, the club has secured Iranian middle blocker Mahdi Jelve for the same period. The 2001-born athlete stands 208cm tall and brings experience from the Iranian Super League, Turkey's Fenerbahçe, and a championship-winning stint with Olympiacos in Greece. Jelve has also represented Iran in various international competitions, including the Volleyball Nations League and World Championships.
