PAOK BC wins Memorial Piera Pajetta tournament in Italy

PAOK BC won the 'Memorial Piera Pajetta' international basketball tournament in Italy after defeating Napoli with a score of 100-74 in the final. Cedi Osman was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP) following a standout performance where he scored 31 points, including six three-pointers.

Coach Andrea Trinchieri emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards and adaptability rather than just focusing on results. He noted that while the team showed improvement, he is looking for consistent excellence. Trinchieri also highlighted the successful integration of new players Nick Calathes, Naso Bazinas, and Cedi Osman into the squad during the preseason.

Other notable contributors in the final included Nikos Huggaz with 13 points, Naso Bazinas with 12 points and 8 assists, and Trevlor Hodge with 10 points. The team is scheduled to continue its preseason preparations with a friendly match against Armani Milano on September 12.
