PAOK expands basketball network and pursues Christian Jakic transfer

PAOK BC has announced a three-year strategic partnership with GE Agrinio, spanning from 2026 to 2029. The collaboration aims to develop basketball academies, facilitate knowledge exchange, train coaches, and identify new talent within the Northwest Greece Basketball Union region. Dr. Ioannis Grapsas will coordinate the project.

In football news, PAOK has completed the arrival of Croatian midfielder Christian Jakic in Thessaloniki. The 29-year-old is joining on loan from FC Augsburg with an option to buy for 4,000,000 euros following successful medical examinations.

Additionally, MEP Giorgos Avtias discussed the future of PAOK, noting that the club requires a modern stadium comparable to those of AEK, Panathinaikos, and Olympiacos. He mentioned potential state and private funding for the Nea Toumba stadium project.
