Anderlecht defeats PAOK to advance in Europa League

Anderlecht defeated PAOK 3-2 in the second leg of the Europa League third qualifying round, securing a 4-2 aggregate victory. The Belgian side advanced to the play-offs, where they will face Kairat Almaty.

In the match at Lotto Park, Léo Pétrot opened the scoring for Anderlecht in the 20th minute. PAOK responded through an Andrija Zivkovic header in the 34th minute. Anderlecht regained the lead in the second half with goals from Lukas Ambros and Danylo Sikan. Although Alexander Jeremejeff scored a late penalty for PAOK, the Greek side could not complete the comeback.
