PAOK FC signs Christian Yakic and investigates VAR error

PAOK FC has announced the loan signing of Croatian midfielder Christian Yakic from Augsburg. Yakic becomes the eleventh Croatian player to represent the club. Additionally, the club has scheduled the electronic sale of tickets for the upcoming derby against Aris, with prices varying by gate and category.

Separately, a PAOK FC delegation visited the VAR Center in Marousi to investigate a controversial officiating decision during their derby against Panathinaikos. The club sought to review communications regarding a missed penalty involving Van den Berg and Diagé.

Club communications officer Giorgos Kuvendidis stated that the visit confirmed the club's position, noting that the VAR review lasted less than thirty seconds and failed to utilize available replays. The club expressed frustration that a critical phase was not properly examined, leading to what they described as an obvious refereeing error.
