PAOK Men’s Volleyball signs Austrian star Alexander Berger

PAOK Men’s Volleyball has officially announced the signing of Austrian outside hitter Alexander Berger. The 38-year-old athlete joins the club to bolster the roster for the 2026-27 season, with the ultimate goal of contending for the championship.

Berger brings extensive international experience to the team, having played professionally in Austria, France, Italy, Turkey, and Poland. Standing 1.94m tall with a 3.52m attack height, he has represented the Austrian National Team and achieved significant success at the club level. His career highlights include winning four Austrian Championships and one Austrian Cup with Hypo Tirol Innsbruck, as well as securing the CEV Champions League, the Italian Championship, and multiple Italian Cups and Super Cups during his tenure with Sir Safety Perugia.
