PAOK nears Serif Ndiaye loan deal and eyes Hjalmar Ekdal

PAOK is finalizing the transfer of 30-year-old Senegalese striker Serif Ndiaye from the Turkish club Samsunspor. The deal is structured as a one-year loan with an option to purchase for 3,000,000 euros. Samsunspor's communications officer, Swat Çakır, confirmed the loan and the purchase clause, noting that the club is already seeking a replacement.

Ndiaye, who stands 1.90 meters tall, brings significant experience from leagues in Belgium, Croatia, Turkey, China, and Serbia. He previously played for Red Star Belgrade, where he scored 40 goals in 89 appearances, and recorded 10 goals in 29 matches for Samsunspor last season. He is a 19-time international for Senegal.

In addition to the Ndiaye deal, PAOK is reportedly showing interest in Swedish defender Hjalmar Ekdal from Burnley. The club is currently in negotiations with the 27-year-old international defender regarding personal terms.
