PAOK defeats Manresa 93-78 in EuroCup opener

PAOK secured a 93-78 victory against Spanish side Manresa in their EuroCup season opener at the PAOK Sports Arena. Despite a strong start from Cedi Osman, who led with 23 points, the game remained highly competitive for much of the match. Manresa held a lead at halftime, and the game was briefly interrupted for approximately 30 minutes due to a technical issue with one of the arena's backboards.

The turning point occurred in the fourth quarter, where PAOK outscored Manresa 35-22. Bryn Terri was the decisive factor, scoring 20 points in the final period alone. Head coach Andrea Trinchieri expressed dissatisfaction with the team's overall performance and intensity during the first three quarters, stating, “If our jersey is not dirty, sweaty, and with blood, then we haven't given it all.”

Manresa's coach, Diego Okobo, acknowledged PAOK's quality and the impressive atmosphere, noting that Terri's consecutive three-pointers made the difference in the closing stages.
