PAOK players approach return from injury ahead of Super League restart

PAOK is preparing for the resumption of the Super League following a break for international duties. Head coach Alessio Lisi is managing several squad updates as players return from injury and international commitments.

Dimitris Giannoulis and Kiril Despodov are making progress in their respective recoveries. Giannoulis, recovering from a second-degree ankle sprain, is in the final stages of his individual program and could be available for the match against Kalamata on October 12. Despodov, returning from surgery and a long absence, is gradually increasing his training intensity on the pitch, though the medical staff is managing his return cautiously.

Additionally, Pantelis Chatzidiakos and Tom Louse have returned to regular training sessions. In the attacking department, Lisi is evaluating options involving players like Ndiaye, Mythou, and Simon Banza, who is expected to rejoin the squad following his international duties.
