PAOK representatives visit Ecumenical Patriarchate in Istanbul
A delegation from the PAOK basketball club visited the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Istanbul on Monday, October 26. The delegation included club president Ioannis Petmezas, board member Evangelos Tsakmakas, General Manager Giorgos Tsiaras, and businessman Vasilis Totoulis.
In the absence of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who is currently abroad, the representatives presented a team jersey to the Patriarchal Commissioner, Metropolitan Derkos. The jersey featured the symbolic number 35 to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Patriarch's election and enthronement.
The delegation also visited the offices of the historic Istanbul club Beyoglu Spor. To mark PAOK's 100th anniversary, the club presented the club's secretary, Paris Maios, with a commemorative emblem and a jersey featuring the number 4 and the traditional name 'A.S. PERAN'. The visit took place ahead of PAOK's scheduled basketball match against Bahcesehir.
