PAOK secures Europa League spot, eyes €11.5 million earnings

PAOK defeated Dynamo Kyiv to advance in the Europa League qualifying round and will meet Belgian side Anderlecht in the third‑round tie. The club stands to receive €350,000 for the win and, if it reaches the group stage, total prize money could rise to about €11.5 million, including UEFA’s market‑pool share.

The team returned to training after the victory, with players following individualized recovery programmes. Injured squad members include Despotović, Meite and Tahaa Ali, while Sorétire is back in full training. The club’s schedule includes a Sunday session at the New Mesimvria training centre. Panathinaikos, another Greek club, is also projected to earn between €350,000 and €3.2 million depending on its progress in the Conference League.
