PAOK signs American guard Leland Walker

PAOK has officially signed 23-year-old American point guard Leland Walker on a free transfer from Salon Vilpas. The contract secures the player through 2029.

Due to a surplus of guards in the current roster, Walker will be loaned to the Romanian club U-BT Cluj-Napoca for the remainder of the 2026-27 season. During this loan period, he will compete in the EuroCup, the Adriatic League, and the Romanian championship.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Walker has shown significant scoring potential in his professional debut season. While playing for Salon Vilpas, he averaged 30.6 points over five Basketball Champions League games and 25.7 points in six Finnish league games.
