PAOK supporters demand new stadium in Thessaloniki protest

Supporters of the PAOK football club utilized the presence of the Greek government in Thessaloniki during the 90th International Thessaloniki Fair to deliver a protest message. Graffiti was sprayed in the city center with the slogan, “Greece is not only Athens, a stadium for PAOK yesterday,” expressing demands for equality and the urgent need for a new stadium.

In related developments, legal expert Babis Apostolidis raised questions regarding a memorandum signed between PAOK FC and the PAOK sports club concerning the New Toumpa stadium project. He questioned why the document has not been made available to the club's supporters, describing the lack of transparency as “unacceptable and even suspicious.”
