PAOK water polo signs Margarita Bitsakou for 2026‑27 season

Greek multisport club PAOK announced the signing of 24‑year‑old water‑polo player Margarita Bitsakou for the 2026‑2027 season. Bitsakou, a left‑handed attacker, previously played for NE Patras, Ethnikos Piraeus, Alimos and Panionios, and has represented Greece internationally, winning two Balkan Games gold medals (2016, 2017), a bronze at the 2018 Youth World Championship and a silver at the 2021 Women’s World Championship. She also took part in the 2025 World Cup qualifiers in Alexandroupoli. In a club statement she said she is excited to wear the PAOK jersey, aims to help the team achieve its goals and wishes for a healthy, injury‑free season.
