Paola Donquis and María Vargas crowned in major beauty pageants

Paola Donquis has been crowned Miss Cosmo Venezuela 2026. The 21-year-old architecture student and volleyball player will represent Venezuela at the international competition in Vietnam scheduled for late 2026 and early 2027.

In Mexico, María Vargas, a 28-year-old model and writer from Jalisco, has been named Miss Universe México 2026. Following a final held in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Vargas will represent the country at the Miss Universe 2026 competition in Puerto Rico this November. Her victory included recognition for a Wixárika-inspired national costume designed by Joel García.
